Hi, I’m Ursula…

I believe women’s health is not a series of symptoms to fix, but a conversation to be tended.

Ursula Crane, CNM — Women’s Health Clinician

After decades of working with women as a midwife and clinician, I’ve learned that good medicine blends science and humanity.

My role is to listen, interpret, and guide — helping you make sense of what’s happening in your body and what can be done to support you.

Women today are inundated with conflicting messages about hormones, supplements, and “miracle” fixes. A big part of my work is helping you sort through all of that — understanding what’s grounded in evidence and what’s simply misinformation. I translate the science into something practical and personal to you.

I see perimenopause and menopause as natural and meaningful stages of life. These changes can begin earlier than many women expect, influencing everything from sleep and mood to metabolism, cognition, bones, and sexual health. Hormones can be an important tool for some women, and for others they’re not the right fit. My approach is individualized: I help you understand your options, the physiology behind them, and how to make decisions in collaboration with your prescribing physician.

I approach each woman’s story with curiosity and respect. Care should make sense — you should leave a consultation not only feeling supported, but also understanding why you feel the way you do and what can help you move forward.

With more than 30 years of clinical experience, my goal is simple: to offer clear, evidence-informed guidance grounded in real medical understanding — helping you feel like yourself again, with clarity, confidence, and a plan that fits your life.

My Principles

My practice is guided by a few simple values that shape everything I do:

  1. Integrity and clarity — I base my recommendations on evidence and transparency.

  2. Accessibility and practicality — every plan must fit real life.

  3. Respect for autonomy — I offer information and options, not dependence.

  4. Connection — humor, compassion, and honesty belong in every conversation.

These principles ensure that each woman I work with feels informed, reassured, and capable of making confident decisions about her health.

How I Work

Every consultation begins with your story.

Together, we review your history, symptoms, and lab results in context — connecting data to lived experience. From there, I create a plan that is realistic, safe, and actionable.

This approach blends structure with humanity — clinical reasoning with genuine care.  The result is progress you can see and feel.
